At the very heart of Christianity is the amazing revelation that God, the eternal and almighty one, loves us! At Bush this year we will begin to consider two effects of this remarkable truth. Firstly, how does this impact on our lives as individuals and how do we respond to the knowledge that God values us so highly? Secondly how are we to communicate such good news to those we know who have yet to experience all that God wants to give them. Helping us, on our journey of discovery, will be our main speaker, Laurence Singlehurst.

Thank you for your interest in Bush Conference. This is a Christian conference that takes place over the August bank holiday weekend each year. It began over twenty tears ago when a group of Christian friends persuaded a local farmer to let them use a field for a weekend campsite. Over the intervening years there have, of course, been many changes and developments. We now meet on Broadnymett farm just on the outskirts of the Mid Devon village of Bow having previously been at Hartnoll near Tiverton and prior to that at Churchingford in the Blackdown Hills.

The conference is organised by a group of Christians from various churches who share a passion to see individuals coming to know God in all of His fullness and developing into the people that they were intended to be. One of the areas of growth over recent years has been the inclusion of children's and youth sessions along-side the adult programme, although our emphasis is still on families.
As you may notice from the pictures most of the meetings take place in large barns which are cleaned out for the event (no problem if it rains!) and camping is available in an adjacent field. Many who are more local to the venue choose to come as day visitors.
By now we hope you're thinking "is this for me?" The answer is 'yes' if you are interested in a relaxed weekend away that will include spirit-filled worship, anointed bible teaching, powerful ministry, fellowship and fun in the beautiful Devon countryside. We find that some people come as part of their church group, benefiting from the dynamic of a weekend away together, others come as families or as individuals, all being blessed by being in the unique atmosphere of Bush and encountering God in fresh and exciting ways.
